Fairy Bard on his trusty Snail!

I also finished painting up my Fairy Bard on the back of his trusty snail! I have not done watercolour in a long time so this was a good chance to get some practice in. I also tried a little mixed media by adding a little colour pencil on top of parts I had painted. It does not show so clearly on the photo, but the fairy’s wings are made up of lovely shimmery metallic watercolours. I wanted to get a bit of a classic book illustration feel with added extra! 😉 I hope you like the outcome! 😁🧚‍♂️🐌
